SONIC SOLITARIES - illustration
Between 2013 and 2019, I collaborated with artist Sarah Peebles on wood-burned illustrations for Sonic Solitaries Audio Bee Booths and Cabinets and the Dwellings Sensory Bee Cabinets. These are part of the Resonating Bodies project - a series of integrated media installations, community outreach projects and educational initiatives which focus on biodiversity of pollinators indigenous to natural and urban ecosystems of Canada and beyond. These outdoor works intersect habitat interpretation, bio-art, sound installation and sculpture.
